I'm so excited for this summer. Memorial Day is almost here and these are the times that we look forward to (especially while the snow is flying). The warm weather is here and it's time to get out and enjoy it. Like every summer, there will be many memories created with family and friends. Some of my favorites things to do include golf, mini-vacations, car shows, reunions, camping, getting ice cream and countless other things that make spending time in warm weather special.
Think Mahalo! - I'm going to take just a moment to stop and smell the roses and realize that I am truly thankful for all the great things happening in and around me.

Memorial Day
A day Americans should be thankful for...Memorial Day. It's really more than just a day off from work or school. This is a holiday to honor veterans. As bad as we think things are in this country it is scary to imagine what it would be like if it weren't for those who stood before us. Take a moment this Memorial Day and remember our freedom was not free.

The little things....
Isn't it the greatest feeling when you just stop for a second and realize the moment you are in. Not thinking about the past or the future, but thinking about that moment in time. There is a saying:
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present. ~Babatunde Olatunji

Mother's Day
What a great Mother's Day it was. A time when families get together in their own special way to pay tribute to someone who has had some of the largest impacts of their life (and in most cases are responsible for bringing them into the world). Tell your story here for others to read:
